Eastern Flank Battlefield Park spans 110 acres on the historic site of the Battle of Franklin’s eastern flank. Once home to a country club and golf course, the land was purchased by the City of Franklin in 2006 in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust and transformed into a public park through extensive ecological restoration. Visitors can explore walking trails with historic interpretation, open green space, and the McGavock Orchard, or learn about the site’s Civil War history.

The park is also home to the Eastern Flank Event Facility, a 2,000-square-foot venue available for meetings, weddings, receptions, and special events. Public restrooms are available onsite, and restoration efforts continue to preserve the park’s natural habitat.
